On April 19–20, 2025, the network organized a workshop on “Public Speaking for Negotiation” at TK Palace Hotel, Bangkok.
The network was honored to have Mr. Komsan and Ms. Kannika Hutapat from Media Center Development Foundation for as guest speakers, sharing their expertise in communication for negotiation. The training covered topics such as the principles of communication based on the S-M-C-R model (Sender, Message, Channel, Receiver), identifying key points, active listening, clear thinking, and speaking strategies for effective negotiation. Participants had hands-on practice through role-playing scenarios, including negotiating with employers and with the government.
Additionally, HomeNet Thailand – the Foundation for Labour and Employment Promotion contributed to the session on how to be a dignified leader. The group also collaborated in analyzing data from the network’s member survey and mapping out future directions to help the network move forward and further strengthen its leadership.
