Playworker volunteer training

On 17 January, we organized a Playworker volunteer training for more than 20 participants from diverse backgrounds, including students, office workers, arborists from Big Trees, staff members, and priests from the Saint Martin Foundation.

The training focused on sharing the concept of Free Play.
The role of a Playworker is to provide space, time, and safety for children. Rather than interfering with children’s play, playworkers observe, support, and facilitate play in a way that allows it to develop naturally.

In the afternoon, we welcomed our first group of visitors—more than 20 children from the Saint Martin Foundation.

The children were able to release their energy freely, exploring every corner, every material, and every experience prepared for them with great excitement.

In addition to free play, we also integrated a hands-on activity exploring aquatic life, allowing the children to connect their play with real-world nature learning around them.

The first FreePlay Day ended with smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories shared by both children and adults.
